Musktool- Mag-639 Broadband Three-Axis Fluxgate Probe

Mag639 is a derivative of the Mag-03 three-axis fluxgate probe. The probe has increased bandwidth from DC to 12kHz and a full range of ± 100uT. Designed for electromagnetic survey systems such as TDEM (transient electromagnetic method) and MT (magnetotelluric method), a wide frequency band can increase the sensitivity of the system accordingly. Mag639 is specifically designed to meet the above two technical needs. The instrument is packaged in a rugged, non-conductive material, which prevents eddy currents inside the probe during EM measurements. The 2.5m shielded cable keeps the sensor connector and the fluxgate far enough away. The three fluxgate coils are concentric to minimize the effects of high magnetic field gradients.
